Hey everyone—this is Adam, the programmer/CTO.
Today was a busy day for bug fixes. Here's what's new:
• If you're a reader who isn't logged in, you can now send feedback through the feedback form. In other words, if you can't sign up for some reason, now you can let me know.
• The site doesn't call out to Google Maps every time a page loads. This makes pages load noticeably faster.
• The "More" buttons on the front page now work again.
• There are many new events and authors.
• If you're an author, you can now add multiple books to your profile. Simply log into your account, click the button for authors, and click the Add Book button on your profile page.
• Venue pages now have a link to get directions from Google Maps.
• If you try to go to a page that doesn't exist, the error page is now much friendlier.
Many of these improvements were driven by your suggestions, so keep them coming!
This is pretty slick, I will note that the 'request the author' bit is a bit confusing. First off I kind of expect a popup or form to appear with me to fill in some details (like who the author should contact, where this location might be, contact details, etc) and a submit button. I fired off a few accidental requests already trying to figure out how it worked.
Also, a badge that we might add to our website for readers to hit to request an event would be pretty slick, like eventful has.
Searching for genre of book etc would be useful.
Also a place where authors could mention what they're willing to do, where they are willing to travel in a way that people could search would be nifty.
Tall orders :-) but stuff I see as adding value to make people wish to use this more!

Hi~
I've tried adding a second book, but instead of an Add Book button, I only see New Book. When I click on that, I receive a page asking me to fill out all info again. Tried that, but then got an error page. Help?
Thanks much! :)
