San Francisco book party contest
Once again, we're having a book party in an enclosed space (when will we learn?) and there aren't enough slots to go around. So rather than limit it just to some pre-determined VIP list, I'd like to announce another contest. (Sorry for the short notice--we've been scrambling)
As with the NYC party last week, the rules are simple. Send me an email with the subject line "Party!". We'll pick the winners at random from all the entries I've got by noon on Wednesday, July 19th. I've got about ten slots (along with plus-ones), and I figure I'll get a couple hundred responses, so your odds are a lot better than most lotteries. And it's free!
The official invitation is above, with all details. Again, you must be on the guest list to get in (sorry!), but if you're a winner you'll get email confirmation by the end of the day on Wed. Hope to see as many of you as possible then.
UPDATE Wed, July 19, 12:00: Many thanks to all of you who emailed. The contest is now closed and the entrants will be getting an email on whether their name was randomly selected or not by the end of the day. All randomness courtesy of random.org.

chris, thought you might be interested that in the UK, RICHARD AND JUDY (An afternoon programme on par to OPRAH, over here), was discussing social networks (aka youtube, myspace, bebo etc). And the LONG TAIL was discussed. BTW, great book, finished it in 3 days.

On my drive home last night, caught the (not so long) tail end of your interview on NPR.

Hope to catch the rest when it repeats. BTW, you sounded very comfortable behind the mike.
