Wow. That is very cool and very ambitious.
I work for National Instruments and was the tech lead for the SW and was wondering if you would be willing to discuss the SW issues you elude to in your blog. I think that reading between the lines, you are writing code with lots of blocks, running out of screen space, and making what we refer to as snakes.
